Deutsches Museum

München, Deutschland

The Deutsches Museum is no less than one of the largest science and technology museums in the world: around 100,000 objects from various technical and scientific fields are exhibited on Munich’s Museum Island. Currently, 40 exhibitions show the range: from astronomy to marine research, from nanotechnology to mining and the in-house Zeiss planetarium. The highlights of the museum, founded in 1903, include the submarine U1, the Wright brothers’ first motorised aircraft and the first programme-controlled computer, the Z3 by Konrad Zuse.
